Drinking too much, taking painkillers, or experimenting with drugs, can occasionally lead to a substance use disorder. This course helps manufacturing employees understand how to avoid that outcome and recover from it should they experience it. From spotlighting commonly misused substances, and how a substance use disorder develops, to how to minimize their effect on the industrial facility, this course helps employees recognize a substance use disorder and find the help that they, or a co-worker, may need to keep the workplace drug and alcohol-free.
