Some tasks are simple and can be completed quickly; others are complicated and take more time. Whatever the scope, the interactive Task feature in Microsoft Outlook 2016 helps to manage tasks by setting due dates, keeping progress notes, and other helpful tools. This online training course shows users how to navigate through Tasks, and demonstrates how to create, assign, and update the information in stored tasks.
Viewers are shown a couple of ways to assign tasks to others. Viewers also learn how to create a status report, which includes information such as the percentage completed to date and the number of hours spent on the task. The My Tasks list and how to accept or decline tasks are also covered in this course.
