Ladders are a frequently used tool on the jobsite, however, sloppy work practices on ladders can lead to accidents and serious injuries, often from falls. This course discusses the proper and safe selection, deployment, inspection and use of ladders in construction environments.

These safety practices are no laughing matter, as falls are considered one of OSHA’s “Fatal Four,” hazards responsible for the most private sector worker deaths in the construction industry. This course walks trainees through the steps for selecting, inspecting, setting up and climbing a ladder.

Use this course to ensure your construction workers know the safety procedures to follow when working on a ladder and how to respond if a coworker is injured in a fall from a ladder.
