Overview

HAZWOPER: Site Safety and Health Plan

Every HAZMAT facility has a site safety and health plan to set guidelines for working with hazardous chemicals. Despite the best of plans, accidents and spills may still occur. By understanding the site safety and health plan through this training course, your workers can help keep the workplace safe.

This course demonstrates how a site safety and health plan is used to reduce workers' risks to chemical exposure, guard the public from the site's hazards, and protect the environment from contamination. This course also discusses how to contact the emergency response team in the event of an accident, how to approach a spill, and the personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to handle the spill.

HAZMAT workers need to understand and comply with OSHA hazardous material regulations. With this course, your employees learn how to identify, evaluate, and control risks and hazards with the use of the site safety and health plan.

This course has been updated to include GHS container labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for GHS compliance.
