First Aid in Construction Environments
Construction and building workers are aware of how frequently accidents and injuries occur. Yet, they are often unsure of what to do when a co-worker is injured or having some type of health event. Teaching them how to recognize the most frequent types of injuries and basic first aid techniques to apply when they occur, helps people know how to make a difference in the moment.
This course demonstrates how to identify the symptoms and common types of the injuries and illnesses commonly occurring on building and construction job sites. This includes a wide range of injuries and situations from treating cuts, scrapes and blisters, to taking the proper precautions when dealing with injuries where bleeding is occurring. Employees also learn about responding to choking, heart attacks, heat stress, and more.
Use this first aid safety training to help your workers become more proactive and productive when responding to an injured co-worker.
