Overview

DOT Reasonable Suspicion Testing For Managers And Supervisors: Part 2

This course, the second part of a two-part course on DOT Reasonable Suspicion Testing, is designed to equip managers and supervisors with the essential skills to identify, address, and manage drug and alcohol impairment among drivers, mechanics, and warehouse workers.

Part 2 of this course focuses on the signs of drugs and alcohol use with an emphasis on the specific differences between behavioral and physical signs as they pertain to drugs and alcohol use. Guiding managers and supervisors through the entire process of Reasonable Suspicion, this course addresses each step, from how to approach the employee and the basics of drug and alcohol testing, to removal from and return to duty, and getting the employee help.

Use this course so motor carrier supervisors and managers gain a deep understanding of how to recognize, address, test, and help employees with drug and alcohol substance use disorders. Make sure managers and supervisors take both parts of this course.
