WHMIS and The Global Harmonizing System Employee Training
Hazardous chemicals are in 7 million workplaces. This training video explains the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS). Information in this course covers the WHMIS 2015 standard, which incorporates GHS into the WHMIS standard.
This course covers hazard classification, and safety labels including pictograms of the types of health hazards and physical hazards of chemicals. This training explains why safety data sheets are important and explains the use of personal protective equipment to help keep workers safe.
