Affected employees do not service the machines. Instead, that role falls to authorized employees. This does not mean affected employees are not involved in the servicing process; they need to part of the process as they are the ones actually working on the machines you will be servicing. Communication is integral for creating a safe work environment. After all, each machine may have a number of energy sources posing risks to employees.
