Overview

Many workplaces have employees from three or four generations. This online training course takes a look at the characteristics of each generation, explores their common values, and teaches leaders how to successfully manage generationally diverse teams.

The four generations found in a typical workplace are identified, from oldest to youngest, by the following names: Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. This course teaches the characteristics of an effective leader in order to enable managers to successfully lead a generationally diverse team. These include leading by example, being approachable, having an ability to challenge the team, providing coaching and mentoring, and making a connection between the employee’s role and the growth of the organization.

Viewers are also taught ways to encourage collaboration and enhance productivity among team members. For example, pairing workers from different generations gives them opportunities to learn from each other.

Watch this online training course to learn effective ways to lead your generationally diverse team.
