What does leadership involve, exactly? There are many characteristics and behaviors that make up effective leadership. As an emerging leader you need to understand the importance of the qualities and know how to implement them on the job. This course demonstrates a number of qualities and best practices for excellent leadership.
Some of these qualities are obvious, like dressing as though you care about your job. Others, like learning how to deal with failure, are more difficult. In order to be a great leader however, you need to be able to accomplish the difficult and the time consuming for the benefit of your team. Still others require a balancing act.
