Overview

Diversity is a complex term that is often tossed around, and many people don’t have a full understanding of its meaning and implications in the workplace. This course seeks to bridge those gaps in understanding in relation to Connecticut harassment prevention laws.

This course, part two of four, introduces the topic of diversity, then talks about why it is so important to our workplaces. The course then teaches employees about determining and understanding our own personal biases, respect, inclusion, hiring, and legislation like Equal Employment Opportunity and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Utilize this course among individuals within your organization, especially if they are new to the company, to comply with Connecticut sexual harassment prevention laws. Employees must complete all four parts to comply with the law, so be sure to continue with Part 3.
