Walking and Working Surfaces
Twenty percent of all disabling injuries and thousands of fatalities occur every year when workers slip, trip or fall on the job. It’s easy to take the safety of walkways and working surfaces for granted. This training video teaches workers to be vigilant in protecting their safety by explaining the specific risks of walkways and floor, stairs and fixed ladder, portable ladders and scaffolding.
The need for personal fall protection is demonstrated, along with the use of mechanical barriers, such as guard rails and toe boards. Working safely and being aware of the potential workplace hazards helps prevent serious and life-threatening accidents.
Anyone who works in an industrial, warehouse or construction environment should practice the safety procedures modeled in this course.
