Overview

Workplace Violence In Food Processing And Handling Environments

Workplace violence occurs more frequently than most people know. From verbal and psychological attacks to physical confrontations, and even active shooter situations, all forms are dangerous, stressful, and potentially life-threatening. These incidents can occur among co-workers or between customers and employees.

Dedicated to teaching employees the risks and preventative steps regarding all types of workplace violence, this course is based upon OSHA findings, recommendations, and requirements; the core of which includes creating a written workplace violence prevention program. Collectively, the five lessons in this course provide the insights and skills employees need to recognize, mitigate, and help prevent violence at their workplace.

Use this course to create a safer, less stressful work environment in which food processing and handling employees know when, how, and why to prevent, respond and report all types of workplace violence.
