Workplace Violence In Construction Environments
Violence in the workplace can start out as a small interpersonal conflict. Violence cannot always be predicted, but it easier to predict if there are protocols set in place and understanding of what kind of problems can develop from certain behaviors.
This course aims to help construction workers understand what workplace violence is, how and when it often occurs, and what to do to prevent or respond to it. There are different examples of violence, from physical, verbal, and harassment. This course demonstrates the different types, as well as the warning signs. The training emphasizes minimizing arguments, and documenting any conflicts that need to be reported, as well as having a workplace violence prevention program set up to help keep employees safe.
Present this course to help ensure your team recognize and respond to any potentially violent behavior at the job site.
