Loading docks may seem interesting, and they are a sign of a thriving business operation. However, they are not to be taken lightly. Statistics from Industrial Safety & Hygiene News report 25% of all industrial accidents occur at the loading dock, and for each accident that occurs, there are about 600 near-misses.
