Industrial Ergonomics
Ergonomic hazards arise every day in industrial work environments where employees are required to perform physically stressful activities. These hazards are synonymous with daily activities such as repetitive motions, awkward sitting and standing positions, improper lifting, and wrongful use of tools and excessive force.
This course shows employees who perform these activities how these ergonomic hazards can cause temporary to permanent injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, and chronic lower back pain. However, with proper education and training, it is easy for workers to recognize and avoid these hazards and injuries in advance.
Use this course to teach the student how to engage in safe and proper ergonomic practices to avoid being injured on the job.
This course is in the Video On Demand format, to read about Video On Demand features click here.
