Hand, Wrist and Finger Safety
Because we use our hands so much, they are vulnerable to hand injuries of every kind. This online safety training course teaches workers how to protect themselves from traumatic and ergonomic workplace hand injuries.
Ergonomic injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive motion syndrome and tendinitis, occur over time and are caused by repetitive motion, working in awkward positions, and applying excessive force either manually or with a tool. Viewers are shown how to prevent ergonomic injuries from happening. For example, if a job requires repetitive motion, other tasks should be inserted in between to vary the movements that are made. Additional ways to prevent ergonomic injuries include repositioning and using suitable tools.
This course also teaches employees how to prevent traumatic injuries, which happen suddenly and can cause bruises, cuts, punctures, and amputation.
Complete this online safety training course to learn practical ways to protect against hand injuries.
