Listening Skills
Hearing is a physical ability but listening is a skill. When communicating, you must be cognizant of verbal and non-verbal communication while listening to the other person. Developing one’s active listening skills is critical for effective communication at work and at home. Use this training module to understand the importance of using active, or reflective, listening to improve communication.
This course reviews how effective communication should work. It also discusses the process loop of how messages are sent and received. Viewers learn about reflective listening and how to become a better listener and overall communicator. This course uses discussion questions and a workbook to further enhance the learner’s engagement.
