Construction's Fatal Four
Over 5,000 construction workers are killed and over 150,000 are injured each year. To reduce these injuries and fatalities, OSHA has identified their four most common causes, or hazards; each of which is thoroughly explained in this course.
Upon reviewing these hazards, collectively referred to as the “Fatal Four” or “Focus Four,” this course addresses the cause and prevention of each: Struck-by Hazards, Caught-In or Caught-Between Hazards, Fall Hazards, and Electrocution Hazards. From this foundation, workers then learn the importance of being aware of their surroundings, and the role that proper maintenance and use of tools, equipment, and safety devices play in ensuring their safety.
Present this Construction's Fatal Four course to prevent construction related injuries and fatalities by following “Fatal Four” safe work practices and procedures.
