In the past, an individual would often stay with one company for many years, perhaps even their entire working life; this is no longer the case. Workplace relationships have grown shorter when compared to those in the past, and while sometimes these relationships end because the employee wishes them to, many others are terminated by the employer. How should the employer make the employee feel during these procedures, how should the employer act during them, and what are their ultimate goals? As a leader, it is your responsibility to guide the parties in question through these times, but you need proper guidance and information to do so. This training video provides you with those resources.
Employment relationships may end for a variety of reasons, and this lesson shows you why this is so. Further, it instructs you on the actions to take after they end. It is true some employees are terminated for inappropriate reasons, and some employees’ terminations could have been avoided had proper alternatives been pursued. These topics will also be explored here. Utilize this Video On Demand program and discover how to best conduct yourself when an employment relationship ends, and thus how to fulfill your responsibilities as a leader.
