Working at a construction site exposes you to many hazards, but with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) many injuries can be prevented. This video demonstrates the benefits of selecting and wearing the correct PPE.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandates employers provide employees with PPE, as well as train them to use it. OSHA estimates there are 2500 eye injuries per day and many of them could have been prevented had the employee been wearing the correct eye protection. There is PPE for every part of the body and the video demonstrates the use of hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and breathing devices. In order for PPE to work effectively workers must have it on and it should not be damaged.
Use this online training video to teach workers how to protect themselves from head to toe by selecting and maintaining the necessary personal protective equipment.
This course has been updated to include GHS container labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for GHS compliance.
