Hazardous Materials Labels
When working with hazardous materials, safety is a top priority. One of the best ways to keep the workplace safe around hazardous materials is to know the characteristics of these materials. OSHA, DOT, and the EPA have established labeling requirements for their regulated materials. Use this course to teach your employees the importance of using HAZMAT labels.
Through this course, workers learn how to read labels and how to label containers correctly. This training course discusses five different types of labels developed for hazardous materials: DOT labels, United Nations identification numbers, Hazardous Materials Identification System labels, National Fire Protection Association labels, and EPA hazardous waste labels.
Employees gain the confidence and skills to safely handle hazardous materials by understanding the labeling requirements discussed in this Video On Demand training.
This course has been updated to include GHS container labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for GHS compliance.
This course is in the Video On Demand format, to read about Video On Demand features click here.
