Hazmat Operations 5: Tactics

This training video is the fifth and final part in a series to educate emergency responders on how best to respond to incidents that include hazardous materials. This video focuses on the tactics and the utilization of tactical options during hazardous materials incidents.

While strategy is the overall plan, tactics are the hands-on activity taken to achieve a specific goal. This video teaches about the different categories of tactics and how to implement them. Educated responders will be more likely to appropriately evaluate the safety of utilizing different tactics.

Training responders on how to properly evaluate and implement the appropriate tactics at a hazardous materials situation enables them to minimize the risk to themselves and the community. Use this course to educate emergency responders on appropriate tactical operations to use during a hazardous materials situation in order to keep everyone and the environment safe.
