Driving: The Consequences of Driving a Motor Vehicle Under The Influence

Consuming alcohol and driving is dangerous, and results in thousands of traffic accidents and deaths annually. This educational video shows what happens to a motorist who is pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving.

The video shows the officer conducting field sobriety tests, placing the motorist under arrest and transporting him to jail for a blood alcohol test, and concludes with the driver’s sentencing in court. His penalties for driving under the influence are spelled out, and viewers learn the high price of drunk driving in terms of economic impact, loss of driving privileges, and the resulting criminal record.
